Art Schools Ontario

During your week at Girls Rock Camp you will learn and practice instruments, form a band and write a song together, and perform at the Showcase Concert on the Saturday following camp. Female musicians offer music instruction, technical and sound instruction, and coach your band during band practices. In addition to working on music, we offer workshops about self-esteem and leadership development. Topics that have been offered at other rock camps include self-defense, ‘zine making, media literacy and critical thinking, do it yourself booking, silk-screening, image and identity.
