Richard S. Todd

A magazine writer and pop composer living near Toronto, Canada, Richard S. Todd is a fervent champion for those fighting to overcome personal struggles and make choices to resist the perpetuation of racial isolation. Raincloud is his debut novel and is soon to be followed by The Orphans of the Creek.

Richard is also the founder of Sky Lake Entertainment, an organization dedicated to promoting literacy to the Greater Toronto Area through the Raincloud Reading Series. His 10-part “Adventures in Self-Publishing” series and “Introducing…” blog, which features interviews with independent authors, can be found at raincloudbook.wordpress.com.

Penn is often in schools, giving participatory performances and workshops in sound poetry and drama, in the process creating a magazine with students.

Mona Youssef is a Canadian fine artist with passion for art since childhood and Egyptian background. Her first oil painting was sold at age of 12. She exhibited her artwork locally, nationally & internationally and received numerous awards, in Canada, Germany and Austria (First & Second Place Awards, Honorable Mention Awards, and Viewers’ Choice Awards & Certificate of Excellence. In 1982, Mona was commissioned to produce an oil painting of the “Canadian Constitution Act” which was presented to the then Prime Minister of Canada Mr. P. E. Trudeau 1982. 1999, she had the privilege to receive a thank you letter from Mr. Trudeau expressing how proud he was to hang that beautiful painting in his home.
Mrs. Youssef has a B.F.A Bachelor of Fine Arts (measured in Interior and Exterior designs), Commercial Arts Diploma, Certificate of Achievement in Digital Media and Diploma Desktop Publishing with Honor Award. As well, I have an Art Jury member of several international art exhibitions”

Breathtaking images of horses, wildlife,cats, dogs and whatever catches my eye. Exploring the relationship between humans and what we call pets. Working animals such as horses that endure so much for our approval. Pets that ask so little but to be close to us. What we see in the eyes of these creatures is as close to heaven as most of us will ever get.
