Island Mountain Arts has operated in historic Wells, B.C. since 1977. A key arts access point for central and northern British Columbia artists and art-lovers, IMA is a year-round Art Gallery and home to the Wells Summer School of the Arts, now in its 29th year. Internationally renowned visual, literary and performing arts instructors come to the Cariboo Mountains to teach intensive visual, literary and performing arts courses, including our unique Arts Mentorship Project for Professional and Emerging Artists. Partnerships with post-secondary institutions allow IMA to offer Fine Arts intensive courses for credit. IMA proudly presents its 2nd Annual ArtsWELLS Festival of All Things Art in summer 2005.
